This $2M deal will re-open Odells in Baltimore which has been closed since 1992 and if you are old enough to remember or just be able to stand outside and enjoy the atmosphere you would remember a good time in the 80's and early 90's. But the club was stricken with problems issues locally and abroad. When the original owner Odell Brock died in 1985, the problems began and then the new owners was involved in a drug ring, attempting to bribe a Zoning Board Member and complaints of violence and noise that lead to the demise of the club and was ultimately closed by the Zoning Board. But to this day there are several reunion events and gathering commemorating the social club.
