After spending a few hours in Miami Dade Detention Center, Big Boi has been released. He has been charged with 4 Counts - 3 counts of possession of a controlled substance and 1 count of possession of paraphernalia. He was released on $16K bond.
Boi was returning to the US from Puerto Rico and the Grand Turk Island on vacation and was apprehended by Border Patrol and searched with a drug sniffing dog.
Big Boi commemorated his freedom through Twitter by saying, "Fresh Out Baby!"
Now the real work start were his attorney believes that the Big Boi will be exonerated for all charges. His attorney, Daniel Krane said, "While Big Boi was traveling with his group and friends, a small amount of contraband was found in the collective luggage. I am confident when the entire facts are aired, Big Boi will be completely exonerated."
