AMC has a HIT in The Walking Dead...

Update: 10/26/2011 @ 3:34AM - The Walking Dead has been renewed for a third season as the 2nd season just premiered. Congrats to the cast for a job well done.

One of our newest favorite shows "The Walking Dead" on AMC has us very excited. This week the season premiere of Season 2 garnered 10 million viewers and I was in that number.

I got hooked on this show just on a whim. Over the weekend I was at the Redbox just seeking something to watch on a late night when I came across the first season. If you didn't know I have a love for horror movies. The gore, blood, and scare tactics, well you do now. From the first 15 minutes in, I knew I was going to be hooked on this show. I actually stayed up all night just to finish the entire season, so that's how hooked I am on the show.

Not even realizing that the show came back on for a second season because I had never heard of the show in the first place I started google-ing it. To my surprise the second season was just starting on October 16th.  Wasn't that perfect? I figured I would have to wait to find out what happen next, but I also thought I might not have gotten the chance and that the show may have gone the way of most shows these day "CANCELLED" but "NOT".

So glad that something has returned in lieu of my other favorite show that was cancelled "The Event" but I digress, this one is on point and very well put together. This is the very first scripted TV Show that I have actually liked and I do hope it is around for a long while.

Good Job AMC this one is a WINNER!

T.I. who was released just a few weeks ago has hit the ground running doing a host of interviews on T.V. and Radio and recently stopped by Chelsea Handlers show on E! "Chelsea Lately" for a sit down. The first question from Chelsea was nothing short of what you would expect from her, "Are you happy to be out of prison?" insert laugh and then continue. They discussed the new book "Power and Beauty", whether or not he got a handy J from Tiny while in prison, and the The Diddy incident. They ended the interview with Chelsea saying, "Nice Try Asshole" check it out:

Vybz Kartel is being arrested for the murder of someone named "Lizard". He will be charged shortly. Kartel was also recently charged with another murder charge before this one. He has other charges pending related to drugs as well and is due in court Wednesday to answer for those.

No NBA for an extra 2 weeks...

What are you to do? No NBA for an extra 2 weeks. Apparently this is so the players will feel the effects of the lock out in their pockets. So that means no games through November 28th.

LaShavi and We Got MusikFest Exposed

This Sunday, October 16th at an event that was heavily boasted about on Facebook was a must not miss occasion - the We Got Next MusikFest. At the much heard about venue the Ottobar located at 2549 Howard Street, Baltimore, MD, was the perfect place to hold the LGBT community supportive event. The staging was superb to host the live performances of the night. Locally and abroad acts showcased their talent for all eyes in attendance. Hosted by D.H., Barbie Bentonn, and Wawa Neon.

We couldn't tell you who would have taken the trophy for best performance because we working the Red Carpet outside but we can tell from the crowd support that everyone was well taken. Us (Be Exposed) being stationed at the forefront and outside on Howard Street was the best place to catch first glimpses at the most fashionable and charismatic attendees of the night for their photo opportunity.

There were just a few setbacks when it came to setting up the step and repeat area, only that there was no step and repeat backdrop. Crisis management in full swing, but not to worry we came prepared with a banner and props. That's not all, the red carpet just so happened to be gum spotted concrete that turned black from the open air exposure and dirt. Know what? That didn't diminish the pictures one bit, just added accents, I know right. But that was all achieved by the camera styling of photographer Logan James to the stylish and flamboyant patrons.

After the red carpet, you would head inside to the party and other attention grabbing attractions, such as, the jewel that we found stationed in the back of the club, Dana's Accessories. There was some of the most beautiful pieces available - necklaces, bracelets, and earrings. These pieces impressed me so much that I want to use some select items in a upcoming photo shoot for Be Exposed Magazine.

All in all, LaShavi put together an exclusive event that those who missed it are undoubtedly kicking themselves in disappointment. Keep watching and look out for what's next.

Lana Rae, KIS Agency and Fashion Scene Exposed!

As usual, Lana Rae and KIS Agency did it with style. This weekend was no different, the daytime event to be at was Fashion Scene on October 15th. Everything that you would have wanted to see was there - Models, Clothes, Make-up, Jewelry, and networking opportunities.

Milan was a fitting location as well this being our first visit, I was pleasantly surprised at the elegant decor.  What I like about Milan is its capability to transfer from a night to day venue, typically we only here about there club (night) events.  Of course, we did have something to say about food menu and drinks, that they were rather pricey for a daytime event. $10+ for a Amaretto Sour, really.  So you can guess that we decided to dine elsewhere.  But there were perks that we didn't even realize were real until they were delivered to our table and that was the free beer provided by sponsor Peroni Italy.



We were equally impressed with the amount of people that shown interest in what we have to offer, very receptive to the Magazine, the Release Party - November 18th, and the Talk Lately Show.

A treat for me was being shocked by a 6 degree of separation situation when some of my high school friends appeared through the crowd all model-like. Hi Monigue and Syreeta.

Rick Ross suffers his second seizure of the day...

UPDATE: 10/14/2011 8:10PM: This video was released on twitter after being released from the hospital after the first seizure. The video is of Ross on a private plane planning to head to Memphis for his concert.

Rick Ross while on his way to a performance for the second time suffer another seizure while in the air. TMZ reports that he is currently in the hospital in Birmingham, Alabama. He was headed to a performance supposed to take place in Memphis at 7:30PM

Current condition is unknown.
