Maryland Governor Larry Hogan just announced/signed into law that Maryland Public schools will now open after Labor Day for future school years. This is something that more than 75% of Marylanders has supported. That 's what it used to be for us 30 years and older crowd. I couldn't imagine going to school in August - what a rip of that would be.
The executive order also signified that schools will also close no later than June 15th every year too. He is starting to grow on me, I must admit.
