Dr. Conrad Murray's verdict was just read and he was found GUILTY. So he has been convicted by the people of Manslaughter. The Prosecution just recommended that he be remanded into custody as a convicted felony.
The judge has ordered the Dr. Murray be remanded and the cuff were installed. This order is without bail, so he will have to wait in jail for his sentencing. It is possible for him to serve his sentence on home detention if given 4 years but due to the overcrowding will equate to 2 years in which he could serve that time at home. He has 3 weeks to file a motion of appeal.
